How to organise your skincare products

by | Nov 2, 2020 | Cosmetics, Skincare

How can I organise skincare? Keeping your skincare organised can save you a lot of time and hassle when searching for a specific product. For instance, investing in skincare organisers and storage boxes might not be a bad idea. We recommend keeping your morning and night time products in separate organisers, as they both entail different routines for the skin. When you’re in a rush you will know exactly where each and every product is, resulting in less clutter.

New season means new skincare? It’s important to adapt your skincare products to changes in the new season. For instance, during winter your skin can get drier a lot quicker and in need of a good exfoliation to get rid of the dead skin cells, along with a creamy moisturiser to lock in the moisture all day long. Another top tip during the winter is to make sure your skincare has SPF as your skin can still be affected by UV rays while outside despite it not being summer. Searching for your next facial moisturiser? Why not check out LYF’s Rejuvenating Moisturiser on our shop page use discount code LYF20 to receive 10% off.

Do I need a skincare fridge? A skincare fridge is more of a luxury rather than a necessity, but it’s a great idea to keep your face masks or face massagers cool to de-puff and freshen your skin in the morning. We recommend storing skincare items at room temperature and to keep an eye on the expiration dates. A good method to keep track of when your products expire is to write down the expiry date of each product on a sticky label to know when to discontinue.
